Troubleshooting: Button in Email Doesn't Display the Text

A common issue when sending messages to Office 365 web client, is finding that the impressive button you designed looks completely flat and without text:

The origin of this rendering issue is that Office 365 and Outlook.com doesn't support empty links in buttons.
