Insert a text hyperlink into an email

You can easily insert hyperlinks into your emails.

Then when your email recipient clicks on one of your links, it will take them to an outside website of your choice.

1. Within your email template, type your email text.

This example is using the Basic email template editor, the Advanced editor uses the same process.

 

2. Highlight the text you want to turn into a hyperlink.

 

3. Click the "Insert Hyperlink" button (it looks like a chain link).

 

4. This box will pop up and you will enter the URL you want to link to.

NOTE: Be sure to include http:// or https:// It will not work if you just type in www.google.com without the https://

 

5. Click "Save" and you're done!

 

6. It's always a good idea to check your hyperlink to make sure it works!
