Compress Audio File
Audio played over the telephone is transcoded into a format that the telephone network can understand. Regardless of the quality of the file you provide to us, we will transcode it so it will play correctly. This may result in a lower sound quality than your original file.
If you are recording MP3s from scratch, you will have best results recording in a 8kbps format.
When uploading MP3 files for your Call for Info system, you may get a time out message if the file is too large. If you get this message, you will want to compress your file and re-upload.
