Troubleshooting: Texts are not Sending

If you are attempting to send a text to a contact and nothing happens when you click the Send button, there may be an issue with your account.

1. Start your troubleshooting by going to Automation and Text and Voice.


2. Click the Settings tab.


3. Click the Test Connection button. Look for Test Connection Succeeded.


4. An Oops error indicates the issue is with you account. Go to and sign into your account. Check the status of these items:

  • Is the account active?
  • Are there funds available? Do they have a current credit card?
  • Are there any errors in the account?
  • Do you have an account Warning that needs to be addressed?


5. Once the Twilio account is in good standing, go back and retest the connection in the Text and Voice on the Settings tab.
