How to Close Your Account

Overview

When you close your account, all of your data will be permanently deleted from the system. This includes your contacts, appointments, to-dos, email templates, autoresponders, and all historical information. This action cannot be undone, so it's important to export any data you want to keep before proceeding.


Important: If you're experiencing issues with your account or have questions about your plan, we encourage you to contact our support team at cases@allclients.com before closing your account. We may be able to help resolve your concerns or find a solution that works better for your needs.


Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Billing Settings

While logged into your account, hover over your Profile Picture Menu in the top-right corner and choose Billing & Plan.


2. Locate the Account Cancellation Option

Scroll to the bottom of the Billing & Plan page and find the red Cancel & Permanently Delete Your Account button.


3. Confirm Account Cancellation

Click the red Cancel & Permanently Delete Your Account button to immediately cancel your account. You will be prompted to confirm this action and may be asked to complete an optional survey about your reason for leaving.


Warning: Once you click this button, your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone.


Important Notes

Data Backup Recommendations: Before canceling your account, consider exporting important information:

  • Export your contacts to save customer information
  • Download any email templates you want to keep
  • Save important to-do lists or appointment information
  • Back up any reports or data you may need later

Account Recovery Window: If you change your mind after canceling, we may be able to restore your account from backups for up to 3 months after cancellation. Contact cases@allclients.com if you need assistance with account recovery. After 3 months, account data cannot be recovered.


Team Accounts: If you have team members on your account, canceling will affect their access as well. Consider removing team members individually if you only want to cancel your own access, or transferring account ownership if appropriate.


Close Your Account Questions and Answers

Q: Can I reactivate my account later?

A: You can restore your account within 3 months of cancellation by emailing cases@allclients.com. After 3 months, account data is permanently deleted, but you're welcome to create a new account.


Q: What happens to my team members when I cancel?

A: All team member access will be terminated when the main account is canceled. If you only want to remove specific team members, use the team management features instead of canceling the entire account.


Q: How do I export my data before canceling?

A: Navigate to Contacts → Group Actions to export contact information. For other data like templates or reports, contact support for assistance with data export options.


Q: Can I cancel just my Messages service instead of my entire account?

A: Yes, you can cancel Messages separately by going to Automation → Messages → Settings and clicking Permanently Cancel Messages. Note that you'll also need to cancel your phone number separately through your Twilio account.


Q: I'm having problems with my account. Should I cancel?

A: Before canceling, please contact our support team at cases@allclients.com. Many issues can be resolved, and we may be able to find a solution that works better for your needs without requiring account cancellation.
