How to Close Your Account

Why This Matters

Closing your AllClients account permanently deletes all of your data, including contacts, appointments, to-dos, email templates, automations, and all historical information. This action cannot be undone. Understanding the process and consequences before you proceed helps you avoid accidental data loss and ensures you've backed up anything you need to keep.

Before you close your account: If you're experiencing issues or have questions about your plan, contact our support team at cases@allclients.com. We may be able to resolve your concerns or find a better solution for your needs.

Before You Begin

Export your data first. Once your account is closed, your data is immediately deleted and cannot be recovered (except within a 3-month window by contacting support). Consider exporting:

  • Your contacts (Contacts → Group Actions)
  • Email templates you want to keep
  • Important to-do lists or appointment information
  • Any reports or data you may need later

Team account owners: Canceling your account terminates access for all team members. If you only want to remove specific users, use team management features instead. If you want to transfer ownership, do that before canceling.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Billing Settings

While logged into your account, hover over your profile picture in the top-right corner and click Billing & Plan.

This is where you manage your subscription and account status. ⏱️ Takes 2-3 minutes.


2. Locate the Account Cancellation Option

Scroll to the bottom of the Billing & Plan page and find the red Cancel & Permanently Delete Your Account button.

This button initiates the permanent account closure process.


3. Confirm Account Cancellation

Click the red Cancel & Permanently Delete Your Account button, then confirm your decision in the prompt that appears. You may be asked to complete an optional survey about your reason for leaving.

⚠️ Warning: Your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately. This cannot be undone.

Questions and Answers

Q: Can I reactivate my account later?

A: You can restore your account within 3 months of cancellation by emailing cases@allclients.com. After 3 months, all data is permanently deleted. You're welcome to create a new account anytime, but your previous data will be gone.


Q: What happens to my team members when I cancel?

A: All team member access terminates immediately when you cancel the main account. If you only want to remove specific team members, use the team management features instead of canceling the entire account.


Q: How do I export my data before canceling?

A: Navigate to Contacts → Group Actions to export contact information. For other data like templates or reports, contact support at cases@allclients.com for assistance with export options.


Q: Can I cancel just my Messages service instead of my entire account?

A: Yes. Go to Automation → Messages → Settings and click Permanently Cancel Messages. Note that you'll also need to cancel your phone number separately through your Twilio account.


Q: I'm having problems with my account. Should I cancel?

A: Contact our support team at cases@allclients.com before canceling. Many issues can be resolved, and we may be able to find a solution that works better for your needs without requiring account cancellation.
