Understanding Your Dashboard

Why This Matters

The Dashboard is your home base in AllClients. It provides a quick, customizable snapshot of your most important business data — leads, appointments, tasks, and communication — all in one place. Instead of navigating through multiple pages to check what's happening, you can see everything that matters at a glance.

Think of it like your car's dashboard: it tells you what's going on under the hood, how fast you're going, and reminds you to fasten your seatbelt. Your AllClients Dashboard does the same thing for your business.

What You'll See

When you first open your Dashboard, you'll see widgets displaying key information. Widgets are small panels that show specific types of data. Each user can customize their Dashboard to show exactly what they need.

Common widgets include:

New Leads — See who's recently joined your database and where they came from

Upcoming Appointments — View your schedule for today and the coming days

Tasks & To-Dos — Track follow-up reminders and action items

Email Opens — Monitor recent engagement with your email campaigns

Today's Birthdays — Never miss an opportunity to reach out on a client's special day

Landing Page Performance — Track how your forms and pages are converting

Category Counts — See how many contacts you have in each category

Because different things matter to different people, the Dashboard is completely customizable. You can add, remove, rearrange, and configure widgets to match your workflow.

Customizing Your Dashboard

Access Customize Mode

Right-click anywhere on your Dashboard and choose Customize, or click the Customize This Screen link at the top or bottom of the Dashboard. The screen will switch to edit mode, showing all your customization options.

Add Widgets

Click the Add Widget button to see available widgets. Select the ones you want to add. New widgets appear at the top left of your screen. Some widgets have an Edit button that lets you configure settings — for example, choosing which category to track or which date range to display.

Remove Widgets

To remove a widget you don't need, click the trashcan icon on that widget. This helps reduce clutter and keeps your Dashboard focused on what matters most.

Rearrange Widgets

Drag and drop widgets to rearrange them in your preferred order. Put your most important information at the top where you'll see it first.

Save Your Changes

When you're finished customizing, click Done. Your personalized layout will appear every time you access the Dashboard.

Using Your Dashboard Effectively

Prioritize What Matters Most

Put your most critical widgets at the top. If new leads and appointments are your priority, place those widgets first so you see them immediately when you log in.

Track Engagement

Add the Email Opens widget to see who's engaging with your campaigns. This helps you identify hot leads and follow up at the right time.

Monitor Performance

Use the Landing Page Performance widget to track which forms are converting and where your new contacts are coming from.

Reduce Clutter

Remove widgets you rarely check. A clean Dashboard is easier to scan and helps you focus on what's important.

Use Multiple Tabs

You can create multiple Dashboard tabs to organize different views. For example, one tab for daily tasks and another for long-term tracking.

Questions and Answers

Q: Can I reset the Dashboard to default?

A: Yes. Use the Reset to Default button in Customize mode to restore the original layout.

Q: Are widgets shared between team members?

A: No. Each user customizes their own Dashboard layout. What you see won't affect what your teammates see.

Q: Can I create multiple Dashboard layouts?

A: The system supports one layout per user, but you can use multiple tabs to create different custom views. You can change your layout anytime.

Q: Do changes save automatically?

A: No. You must click Done to confirm your edits before exiting Customize mode.

Q: What if a widget isn't showing data?

A: Check that the widget is added and not hidden in Customize mode. Also confirm that the relevant data (contacts, tasks, appointments) has been entered correctly in the system.

Q: Can I change my Dashboard layout later?

A: Yes. You can customize your Dashboard as many times as you want. Right-click and choose Customize anytime you want to make changes.

Q: What happens if I accidentally delete a widget?

A: Just go back into Customize mode and use the Add Widget button to restore it.

Q: Why aren't my changes saving?

A: Make sure you click Done before exiting Customize mode. If you navigate away without saving, your changes won't be applied.

Video Transcript:

Your car's dashboard tells you what's going on under the hood. Like how fast you are going and how much fuel you have left. It will even remind you to fasten your seatbelt.

Your database Dashboard does the same thing for your database. And it's one of the most important screens in the entire system.

Your Dashboard can:

  • Tell you how many new contacts have been added to the system, and who they are
  • It can remind you about to-dos and upcoming appointments
  • Show you how your landing pages are performing
  • Tell you about today's birthdays
  • And it can even keep track of the number of contacts you have in a certain category

Since different things are important to different people, we've made the Dashboard completely customizable.

When you right-click anywhere on your dashboard, this button will show up, and it will take you to the customize screen.

From here, we can move any of these widgets around however we want to. Then you can click here to add additional widgets.

When you add a widget, it will appear at the top left part of your screen. With some widgets, you will want to hit this edit button to configure it for your dashboard.

You can add as many widgets as you would like, and the Dashboard will just scroll so you can see them all.
