Add a Note to the Contact Record about an Email Blast

When you send an email blast, you may want to put a note on each contact record documenting that you send them that blast.  

1. Hover over Contacts and choose Group Actions.

 

2. Clear the Workgroup and use the Add Contacts tab to select the contacts you want to send the email to.

 

3. Click the Actions Tab.

 

4. Start your blast process by clicking on Email Blast.

 

5. Select your email template.

 

6. Before you click Send Blast Now, first click the box Add a note about this Email Blast.

 

Make sure to check the box before you click send.

When the note is added to the contact record, you will create a history of the emails sent to the contact. There is no way to add a system note in after the email has been sent.
