Send an Email Blast to Both Emails on a Contact Card

When you send an email blast, you may want to include both contact's on the Email Blast, not just the primary Contact. Here's a step by step guide.

Send email blasts to the primary and secondary email.


Steps to follow:

1. Hover over Contacts and click Group Actions.


2. Clear the Workgroup and use the Add Contacts tab to select the contacts you want to send the email to.


3. Click the Actions tab.


4. Start your blast process by clicking on Email Blast.


5. Select your email template.


6. Before you click Send Blast Now, click the box Also send this email to Other Contact.


When the box is checked for the Other Contact to also receive the email, 2 emails will be sent. It may create 2 notes on the contact record for proper tracking.

You’re going to send an Email Blast to a group of contacts and you want to include the Other Contact in your blast. Let’s do that. Here’s Tim and Karen’s contact card. Tim is the main contact and Karen is the other contact. You see both of them have email addresses and both of them are opted-in. Now let’s jump into Group Actions. We’re going to send out an email to everyone in our contact group. Hit Email Blast and then select the email template you want to send out. At the bottom here you’ll notice there are 2 checkboxes. “Also send this email to the other contact”. That’s the one we want to check. Now when I send this email out, it will also send a separate email to the other contact listed on the contact card.
