How to Use the AI Usage Report

Why This Matters

The AI Usage Report shows you exactly how your AI credits are being spent. You can see every action taken, how many credits each action used, and who on your team performed it. This makes it easy to understand your usage patterns, plan for how many credits you need each month, and keep an eye on team activity.

Access it from AI → AI Usage Report in the main navigation bar.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Set Your Date Range

When you open the Usage Report, it defaults to the current month. Use the Date Range dropdown to filter activity for a different time period. Options include:

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • This Month (default)
  • Last Month
  • Last 7 Days
  • Last 30 Days
  • Last 90 Days

The summary and activity log update immediately when you change the date range.

Step 2: Review the Summary

At the top of the report, two numbers give you a quick overview for the selected date range:

  • Total AI Generations — The total count of AI actions taken
  • Credits Used — The total credits consumed

Use these numbers to get a sense of your overall usage before diving into the details below.

Step 3: Review the Activity Log

The Activity Log shows each individual AI action as a separate row. Each row includes:

Column

What It Shows

Date Date and time of the action
Action A description of what was done
User The team member who performed the action
Credits Used The exact number of credits that action consumed

Actions are described in plain language — for example, "AI Email Writer," "Generated newsletter article," "Generated newsletter image," or "Rewrote in writing voice."

Step 4: Use the Data to Plan Ahead

If you find yourself regularly running low on credits before the month ends, the Usage Report helps you identify where credits are going. Image generation uses significantly more credits than text generation — a single image costs approximately 50 credits compared to 1–15 for most text actions. If images are consuming a large portion of your monthly allotment, consider purchasing a credit pack or generating images more selectively.

Questions and Answers

Q: Can I see my team members' activity in the Usage Report?

A: Account owners and team leaders see all team member activity. Regular team members see only their own activity.

Q: How far back does the report go?

A: The furthest date range option is Last 90 Days. For activity older than that, the report is not available.

Q: Why don't I see dollar amounts or token counts in the report?

A: The Usage Report is intentionally designed to show credits only — not raw costs, token counts, or technical details. Credits are the only measurement you need to manage your AI usage.

Q: The report shows no activity — why?

A: Either no AI actions have been taken in the selected date range, or you are a regular team member and no actions have been taken under your account specifically. Try changing the date range or checking with your account owner if you expect to see activity.

Q: How many entries does the report show at once?

A: The report shows up to 200 entries per query. If you have very high usage, narrowing the date range will help you find specific activity more easily.
