About: AI Credits
Why This Matters
Every AI action in your account uses credits. Writing an email draft, rewriting it in your own voice, building a landing page, generating a newsletter image: each one draws from the same pool.
Understanding how that pool works means you can use the AI tools freely without worrying about running out at a bad moment, and you can tell at a glance whether a task is worth what it costs.
How Credits Work
You have two kinds of credits, and they are used in a specific order.
Monthly credits come with your billing plan. They reset on the 1st of each calendar month and do not carry over, so unused monthly credits are gone when the month turns.
- Select plan: 500 credits per month
- Premium plan: 1,000 credits per month
- Elite plan: 1,500 credits per month
- Enterprise plan: 2,000 credits per month
Purchased credits come from credit packs you buy. They never expire, and they are only used after your monthly credits run out. That order matters. The system always spends your monthly allotment first, so a pack you bought in March is still sitting there in December if you never needed it.
What Things Cost
Credits are deducted after each AI action, and different actions cost different amounts. Text actions are the cheapest, whether you are writing a draft, refining it, shortening it, or changing its tone. The AI Builders cost more because they produce a complete, designed asset rather than a block of text. Image generation is the most expensive thing you can do.
Exact costs shift over time as AI models and pricing change, so the system keeps the current figures where they will always be accurate. Open the How AI Credits Work panel on the AI Dashboard to see what each action costs today.
💡 Image generation uses far more credits than anything else. If you are working with a limited balance, generate images only where visuals genuinely matter.
Seeing What You Actually Spent
The AI Usage Report shows a summary of total AI generations and credits used for a date range you choose, along with an activity log listing every AI action with its date, what was done, who did it, and the exact credits it consumed.
This is where to look when you want to know what a specific action really cost, or which part of your team is using the most AI.
Where to See Your Balance
Your available credit total appears in three places:
- The credit badge in the top right corner of every AI page
- The AI Credits panel on the AI Dashboard, which also breaks the number down into monthly credits included, monthly credits used, monthly credits remaining, and paid credits remaining
- The AI Credits widget on your home page dashboard, which you can add from the widget panel
Credits and Your Team
Everyone on the account shares one credit pool. There is no per-member allocation, so a credit spent by any team member comes out of the same balance. The user column in the AI Usage Report shows who spent what, which is how you keep track without needing separate budgets.
Team members can only use AI if they have been granted the AI Features permission in their account settings. Without it, the AI menu does not appear for them at all.
Buying More Credits
Only the account owner can purchase credit packs. If you are a team member and the account needs more credits, ask your account owner.
Packs are available from AI, then Buy AI Credits, or from the Buy More Credits button on the AI Dashboard. Several pack sizes are offered, and larger packs cost less per credit. Current sizes and prices are shown on the Buy AI Credits page. Purchases are charged to the credit card on file. Unused credits never expire, but they are not refundable.
For step by step purchase instructions, see How to Buy AI Credits.
Questions and Answers
Q: Do my unused monthly credits roll over?
A: No. Monthly credits reset on the 1st and do not carry over. Purchased credits are different, and those never expire.
Q: If I have both monthly and purchased credits, which get used first?
A: Monthly credits are always used first. Purchased credits are only touched once the monthly allotment is gone, which means a credit pack acts as a reserve rather than something you burn through immediately.
Q: Does each team member get their own credits?
A: No. Everyone on the account draws from one shared pool. The AI Usage Report shows which team member used which credits, so you can see how the pool is being spent.
Q: How do I know what an action is going to cost before I run it?
A: The How AI Credits Work panel on the AI Dashboard lists the current cost of each type of AI action. After the fact, the AI Usage Report shows exactly what each action used.
Q: Can I get a refund on credits I bought but didn't use?
A: No. Purchased credits never expire, so they will still be there whenever you need them, but they are not refundable.
Q: I'm a team member and I don't see the option to buy credits. Why?
A: Only the account owner can purchase credit packs. Contact your account owner if the account needs more.
